Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal parts and structures, following specifications and blueprints. The ideal candidate will have experience with various welding techniques and tools and be able to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

 

Responsibilities:

• Weld and fabricate metal structures and parts using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans to determine fabrication specifications and requirements.

• Measure and cut metal pieces using various tools, such as saws, shears, and plasma cutters.

• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the fabrication process.

• Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while on the job.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Certification in welding or fabrication from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a welder/fabricator in a manufacturing or construction environment.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

• Proficient in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

• Knowledge of welding safety protocols and procedures.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication skills.

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time.

• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
